Apple is an expensive fruit in my country because we can't grow it on our own soil. We import it from foreign country and many people do business of this fruit. Tomato is a kind of vegetable that we grow on our own soil but now both apple and tomato are available in same price. This is not something new, I still can remember when I was a college student the onion and green pepper price was high like foreign vegetable.
Once egg plants are also in the list of celebrity vegetable. This may sounds funny but now tomato is a celebrity veggie in my country and also in my neighbor countries. How I know about the same condition of neighbor countries? Very simple, there are many YouTubers from India and Pakistan making troll on price of tomato and making funny shorts about it. I enjoyed watching them.
Recently when I went for a walk I shoot a short video on veggies and there I hold tomato which was 200 plus taka kilogram which is equivalent to 2 dollars when the regular price of tomato is 20-40 cents and very affordable for common people. Tomato is a very useful veggie and the main ingredient of making tomato sauce or ketchup but people who can't afford the current price of it, skip buying and eating this.

La mela è un frutto costoso nel mio paese perché non possiamo coltivarlo sul nostro terreno. Lo importiamo dall'estero e molte persone fanno affari con questo frutto. Il pomodoro è un tipo di verdura che coltiviamo sul nostro terreno ma ora sia la mela che il pomodoro sono disponibili allo stesso prezzo. Questa non è una novità, ricordo ancora quando ero uno studente universitario il prezzo della cipolla e del peperone verde era alto come la verdura straniera.
Una volta che le melanzane sono anche nella lista delle celebrità vegetali. Può sembrare strano, ma ora il pomodoro è una celebrità vegetariana nel mio paese e anche nei paesi vicini. Come so della stessa condizione dei paesi vicini? Molto semplice, ci sono molti YouTuber dall'India e dal Pakistan che fanno troll sul prezzo del pomodoro e fanno cortometraggi divertenti al riguardo. Mi sono divertito a guardarli.
Di recente, quando sono andato a fare una passeggiata, ho girato un breve video sulle verdure e lì tengo un pomodoro che costava più di 200 taka chilogrammo che equivale a 2 dollari quando il prezzo normale del pomodoro è di 20-40 centesimi ed è molto conveniente per la gente comune. Il pomodoro è un ortaggio molto utile e l'ingrediente principale per preparare la salsa di pomodoro o il ketchup, ma le persone che non possono permettersi il prezzo attuale, evitano di comprarlo e mangiarlo.
