Today April 11, 2021 we are talking about a new all time high for BITCOIN. On April 10, 2021 BITCOIN reached another one of its all time highs at $61,084.43. The price of Bitcoin in 10 years has grown so much. I don't think there has been a similar asset that has been able to do the same thing. As of today we can say without a doubt that Bitcoin would have been the best investment that could be made in the last 10 years.
But what is BITCOIN?
I'll try to explain it in a few words trying to include some very small technical details.
Bitcoin (BTC) was the first cryptocurrency to be recognized as a form of payment. Bitcoin was born in January 2009 and is based on the proof-of-work protocol. The first concept to learn is that Bitcoin is a digital currency so it is not printed like the normal paper money we use today to purchase goods and services.
Bitcoins are created, distributed and exchanged digitally, through computers using peer-to-peer technology.
Bitcoin was created by an anonymous inventor and the project was signed by one Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto is therefore the founder of the Bitcoin client and cryptocurrency but we are not sure who is behind this name. It could be a person, like a development team.
What do you think about Bitcoin, can it establish itself as a payment method? Will it be used by most people, or not?

Oggi 11 Aprile del 2021 parliamo di un nuovo all time high per BITCOIN. Il 10 Aprile 2021 BITCOIN ha raggiunto un altro dei suoi massimi storici a 61,084.43$. Il prezzo di Bitcoin in 10 anni è cresciuto tantissimo. Io non credo che sia esistito un asset simile che sia stato in grado di fare la stessa cosa. Ad oggi possiamo dire senza dubbi che Bitcoin sarebbe stato il miglior investimento che si potesse fare negli ultimi 10 anni.
Ma che cosa è BITCOIN?
Provo a spiegarlo in poche parole cercando di inserire qualche piccolissimo dettaglio tecnico.
Bitcoin (BTC) è stata la prima criptovaluta ad essere riconosciuta come forma di pagamento. Bitcoin nasce nel gennaio 2009 e si basa sul protocollo proof-of-work. Il primo concetto da apprendere è che Bitcoin è una moneta digitale quindi non viene stampata come la normale cartamoneta che oggi usiamo per acquistare beni e servizi.
I Bitcoin vengono creati, distribuiti e scambiati in maniera digitale, attraverso i computer utilizzando la tecnologia peer to peer.
Bitcoin è stato creato da un anonimo inventore ed il progetto è stato firmato da un certo Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto è pertanto il fondatore del client Bitcoin e della criptovaluta ma non sappiamo con certezza chi si celi dietro a questo nome. Potrebbe essere una persona, come un team di sviluppo.
