Qualche mese fa sono stato vicino a Verona ed ho fatto una sosta a Zevio. Zevio è paese di 15000 abitanti in provincia di Verona. Il municipio è all'interno di un ampio fossato. L’edificio in cui è ora il municipio viene chiamato “il castello” anche se non ha la forma architettonica di un castello, ma come un castello è completamente circondato da un canale d’acqua. Questo cerchio d’acqua che circonda il municipio è qualcosa che richiama la struttura architettonica esterna dei castelli medievali i quali erano circondati dai fossati per avere maggiore protezione. Nei pressi del fossato c’è un marciapiede per poter fare una passeggiata completa attorno al municipio.

Che ne pensate di questo fossato che circonda completamente il municipio?

Description of the photo shot
A few months ago I was near Verona and I made a stop in Zevio. Zevio is a town of 15,000 inhabitants in the province of Verona. The town hall is inside a large moat. The building where the town hall is now is called "the castle" even if it does not have the architectural shape of a castle, but like a castle it is completely surrounded by a water channel. This circle of water that surrounds the town hall is something that recalls the external architectural structure of medieval castles which were surrounded by moats for greater protection. Near the moat there is a sidewalk to take a complete walk around the town hall.
