Two sunsets and rain

It was worth coming to the city for this sunset. From the height of the 8th floor, from the window of my kitchen, it looks majestic. The sky was rapidly changing its shape, but the color remained amazing.

Ради этого заката стоило приехать в город. С высоты 8 этажа, из форточки моей кухни это выглядит величественно. Небо быстро меняло свою форму, но цвет оставался восхитительным.

It all started with a heavy summer rain. Of course, I ran for the camera. The trouble is that the water jets fell directly on the camera and I tried to shoot very quickly.

Всё началось с сильного летнего дождя. Конечно, я побежал за камерой. Беда в том, что струи воды попадали прямо на камеру и я старался снимать очень быстро.

More recently, I saw a similar sunset in another place - on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. And then it started raining too. Apparently this is the color of rain

Совсем недавно я видел подобный закат в другом месте - на берегу Финского залива. И тогда тоже пошёл дождь. Видимо это цвет дождя

I didn't think to put on the camera the same lens that was with me on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. In this case, it would be possible to compare the colors of sunsets here and there more accurately. Perhaps they match completely. In addition, there is a lot of water on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, which gives a reflection, including on the clouds themselves (not only the sky is reflected in the water, but the sky can also reflect).

Now I'm going to think about how to protect my camera from getting raindrops. The standard case didn't seem quite comfortable to me. Once in the woods I saved the camera with a regular cellophane bag. I just shoved the camera into it and made two holes: under the lens glass and under the viewfinder. It turned out that it was quite easy to manage the camera settings through the package directly from above. However, the package quickly crumples and slips off. Here we have to work on solving this problem. Otherwise, this "boxing" suits me quite well.

Я не догадался поставить на камеру тот же объектив, который был со мной за берегу Финского залива. В этом случае можно было бы сравнить цвета закатов там и тут более точно. Возможно они совпадают полностью. Кроме того, на берегу Финского залива присутствует много воды, которая даёт отражение в том числе и на сами облака ( не только небо отражается в воде, но и небо умеет отражать).

Теперь я буду думать о том, как защитить мою камеру от попадания капель дождя. Штатный чехол показался мне не совсем удобным. Однажды в лесу я спас камеру с помощью обычного целлофанового пакета. Просто засунул в него камеру и сделал два отверстия: под стекло объектива и под видоискатель. Оказалось, что управлять настройками камеры через пакет прямо сверху довольно легко. Правда, пакет быстро мнётся и соскальзывает. Вот над решением этой проблемы и предстоит поработать. В остальном такой "бокс" меня вполне устраивает.
