The first half of summer is the best time in St. Petersburg. White Nights is something amazing. Especially if you have the opportunity to watch them, walk around the city, and not sleep. One Friday night I happened to stay awake at night and go out onto the balcony. There I enjoyed this wonderful landscape. I can only add that if you are planning to visit St. Petersburg, then you should definitely do it in the first half of summer and be sure to enjoy the white nights.
