The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY
AND ART CONTEST WEEK #064: 𝓢𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓞𝓯𝓯

Hi. There have been many great entries in this competition recently and in the other ones on the @worldofxpilar community! It is hard to chose the best ones! 📷

In this post you can see my entry for this weeks contest: The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #064. Thanks to @axeman for his hard work, dedication and fairness in these competitions and to the moderators and members of the World of @xpilar community. 😎

This image was taken at one of the events I used to go to at the Bodmin and Wenford Railway near to where I used to live in the county of Cornwall. I have posted images from these events in the past and this particular photo was taken at a World War 2 event, with reenactors using and wearing traditional items, equipment, weapons and vehicles from this particular era. Here is a link to their website: https://bodminrailway.co.uk/

In this pic I have submitted for this weeks black and white contest, you can see the driver of the steam locomotive popping his head out of the window as the train steams off.
I will share some more pics below I took on this day from this event. I have converted them into sepia to give them more of an authentic, aged look of course. :)

In the final pic you see below, I captured a soldier loading his gun on the train preparing for the (mock) battle ahead. I think I will submit this pic for the contest: The World of XPILAR - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #038.

What do you think? This post is powered up by 100%. I'll check out the other entries in this contest and others. Thank you and see you soon! 😊
