Landscape photography – A frozen beach in Denmark (#steemexclusive / 7 photos)

DSC_01.jpg

When we hear the word "beach" most of us think of a tropical beach. At least we think of summer, sun and heat. In Scandinavia we also have warm summers and lots of beaches that are well visited when it is hot. A beach can also be nice in the winter. Not exactly for swimming, but many of them are offer an opportunity to walk kilometer after kilometer along the sea.

This beach is located just outside Hirtshals in the far north of Denmark. I had been visiting Aalborg and was driving to Hirtshals to take the ferry back to Norway. I had plenty of time before the departure and therefore drove to the beach. It was a bit unusual to see the snow lying here, but it was a nice day and I met several people walking along the sea. The beach is definitely a nice place in the winter too.
