My Weekly Powerup | #club100 | The charming town of Mariager, Denmark (#steemexclusive / 8 photos)

DSC_1.jpg

Mariager is a small town with less than 3000 inhabitants. It is located by Mariager Fjord on the east coast of Denmark. The city is built around a monastery from the 15th century and have managed to retain an old urban environment with cobbled streets and half-timbered houses. Look at the sign with the book.

The word on it is "library". Many houses have signs that tell something about what kind of shop or craft is in the building. Very charming to walk around and look at the signs.

Many of the houses are old and crooked, but they are protected. Those who own one of the old houses must not change them. These old houses and cobbled streets is the real charm of this small town. I was born in the town of Hadsund, which is also located at Mariager Fjord and for many years my father was working in the salt factory here in Mariager. To visit the town after many years recalled lots of memories.

Powering up 100% of all liquid payout! Thanks for the support for making this possible for me each week lately, ty! 😂👍
