You know, yesterday, on Friday 19 August 2022, Karsten Warholm won the European championship on 400 meter hurdles for men. And this is really great for little Norway, and what now little country up there?
Karsten Warholm's trainer is Leif Olav Alnes, and he is funny and serious in his ways of doing things, and he is a free person in the world, and yesterday, Karsten Warholm was superior, and he ran in to new championship record, and that record was and still is 47,12. And that is an amazing time, and as Hjallis said to the world, we cannot run on zero! So, there is just some time when dong the races, and we should do the races as good as we can, and in relation to what is possible for the human being in the human nature.
Karsten Warholm is going to live together with his girlfriend, and her name is Oda Djupvik. And they are living together in Oslo, giving several millions in payment for the place where they live, and loving is the best side of the life, but we should compete all our lives to make the best written and oral contributions that is ever possible on the planet.
Karsten Warholm is born in Ulsteinvik in 1996, and he is representing the sport association called for Dimna Idrettslag. He was World champion on 400 meter hurdles in London in 2017, European champion in Berlin in 2018, World champion in Doha in 2019, and European champion in Munich in 2022. He has a number of Norwegian championships behind him.
There is extremely much training behind many championships in the world, and a guy like Jakob Ingebrigtsen, is probably training two times a day, and with each training effort with a duration more than one hour. So, Karsten Warholm is back again after some damages during 2022, and maybe he will continue to press his world record on 45,94 even more better and even more down in time. And Karsten Warholm has told the world now, that is was a relief to win the European championship in 2022 on 400 meter hurdles. And there was no drama, but he was superior.
So, first we take Manhattan, as Leonard Cohen is singing. And we just stumble out of bed, every of us, and there is a new day, and the day is filled with one activity or more than one activity. And we can choose what to do, but we should train a lot being able and capable of reaching new records, and getting even better results in the sport that we are doing, and specializing oneself in, since nobody can be best in every genre in sports, and therefore we must choose something of all things that are possible in life. And it is good to be back in life, in the same race that we were having before, and by being the best in schools in several courses.
So, we are satisfied with the Norwegian results on 400 meter hurdles, and that is both for men and women! Karsten Warholm got the gold medal for men, and he ran on 47,12. And Amalie Iuel was number five in the final on 400 meter hurdles for women, and that was impressive, and her time was 55,32. And in sports, there are differences between the level of performance for men and women, and often the men are the best ones to get the best results.
