These photos are all from Venice, Italy. An amazing city. To walk the narrow streets or cross the canals by boat, looking at beautfiul architecture, is probably what attracts tourist to this city. I have been here several times and at different times of the year.
Venice has existed for hundred of years, but the xact year of foundation is unknown to me. But throughout history, it has expanded and became an important maritime city. This beautiful city is still a popular tourist destination. The tourists do contribute to the city's income, but with overcrowding as a result
Still, it's a city rich in architecture, art, culture etc. Just walk up to Piazza San Marco or Bridge of Sighs. But walking in the lesser known areas, where the streets and canals are narrow is also to explore other areas are also recomended.
