A few years ago I was vistiting the west coast of Greenland. The photos shows the ice cap seen from a plane on my way from Copenghagen to Ilulissat. It was an amazing sight to see the ice cap from above.

This mighty ice cap covers 80% of Greenland and has a size of 1,726,400 km2. Greenland is a land of ice, snow and glaciers that are among the largest in the world. This ice cap in Greenland is the second largest in the world. The only one that is larger, is the ice cap in Antarctica. It's also the only country in the world to have an ice cap covering most of the land.
