A short while ago I did a post with 48 years old drawings, that I had forgotton all about. It was not only drawings I found, but also paintings. When I was young I also tried patinting with watercolors. I even found paper in different sizes, brushes... I didnt even remember I still kept all these things.
These small paintings were done so many years ago. Just like the drawings, I think they must have been painted in the 70s. I think what I might have done, was to make a sketch from landscapes and then when I was back home I finished them with watercolors. During childhood and as a young adult, I remember I did make sketces of many different landscapes from beeing outdoor. Even trees or floweres in our garden area. Onlys one of these paintings look as if it's finished. It was great fun to discover all these hidden paintings that still look good even they might be 45 years old!
