The history of music artists: The case of Valentina Monetta!

Valentina Monetta is from San Marino, and she is a singer. She is known for represented her domestic country in Eurovision Song Contest four times: 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017. She came to the final in 2014 as the first participant from San Marino in Eurovision Song Contest.

Valentina Monetta is born on 1 March 1975, and hence she is 46 years old today. She comes from the city of San Marino in San Marino. And she is known with songs like: «Maybe», «Crisalide» and «The Social Network Song». Valentina Monetta was born and raised in San Marino, the youngest of the two children of a Sammarinese mother and an Italian father. A graduate of the Giovanni da Rimini school in Rimini, she played piano and sang from an early age. She began her singing career in 1995 fronting the group Tiberio and was subsequently involved with a number of bands including Parafunky, Harem-B, 2blackBluesmobile, and My Funky Valentine. She competed in the 2001 edition of the televised singing competition Popstars. Her genres as a singer are jazz and pop. Valentina Monetta has been active as a musician since 1995, and she is still active and engaged as a singer, and many people love her moves and her songs. But coming from San Marino is special, and there were just 33 938 persons living in San Marino in 2020. So, there is a country there, but the population is small and many people are knowing each other!

San Marino is a small republic situated on the slopes of Mount Titano, on the Adriatic side of central Italy between the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions and surrounded on all sides by the republic of Italy. It is the smallest independent state in Europe after Vatican City and Monaco and, until the independence of Nauru (1968), the smallest republic in the world.

In 2002 she released the single Sharp in collaboration with Paul Manners Production.

She continued her collaboration with vocalist Vanessa J and high calliper musicians like Marcello Sutera, Nicola Peruk and Nabuk. In the meantime, she was able to put her love of jazz and Bossa nova into practice with various local bands. And nowadays, one must cooperate when necessary, and doing the moves in the music as people just appreciate!
