Coconut tree belongs to palm tree family. It is mainly limited to the tropical climate. There is nothing that can be left without use because it provides food, medicine, cosmetics, fuel. Therefore it is considered as the most useful tree in the world.

I took this picture from my home garden. The tree bears coconuts which contain a delicious drink, the coconut water. Extract from grated coconut is coconut milk. It is an integral ingredient of Southern Asian meal.

This is a picture which I took at blue beach island in Dikwalla, Sri Lanka. Coconut trees are a common sight in costal areas. Most of the trees in costal areas bend towards the sea. Some believe it helps propagation.
