| Церковь Собора Пресвятой Богородицы была построена в 1696—1719 годах. Она расположена на Рождественской улице Нижнего Новгорода, где ранее был храм во имя Рождества Богородицы. Собор Пресвятой Богородицы, празднуется на следующий день после Рождества Христова. В итоге эту замечательную церковь не совсем корректно называют «Рождественская». А ещё часто её называют Строгановская, так как построена она была на средства купца Григория Дмитриевича Строганова. Он не жалел денег на храмы. Строились они в едином стиле, который теперь называют строгановским стилем. | The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1696-1719.
