I have the habit of telling people that the most complete genre of literature is 'Drama'. You might disagree with me but i'm just stating my opinion except in cases where you have extreme or dark comedy, that I can't boast of. Take the classics of Charlie Chaplin for example, it cuts through race, time, cultures, music and even politics to mention a few.
Jim Carrey has been on the screen for decades now, grabbing as many eyes and minds as he can. I first got to know him in the late 90s from movies like "The Mask" and "Batman Forever" where he played the role of 'The Riddler'.
Even as a kid back then not understanding the words being said, the plot or anything at all, I was compelled by the energy and vigour he expressed to sit still in front of the TV.
Having not seen any of his movies in a while, I was coming to the conclusion that he had quit acting and stick to SNL skits but then last year, Sonic the Hedgehog came through.
I made this sketch with my 10B Bianyo, layer upon layer and would love to know what you think of the depth and contrast in general.... thanks in advance.
..these are the forms the sketch took before completion....
It's always a pleasure hosting you folks, thanks for the visit.
