Seconds; "Orlando Bloom in Site."

Most times when I blend my sketches, the dark parts spill over and seriously speaking it can be frustrating. So, today I did my portrait in a different way. I've had it in mind to make an Orlando Bloom portrait since August but somehow my lazy self kept postponing. But luckily I stumbled upon the first episode of the 'Pirates of the Carribbean' franchise - The Curse of the Black Pearl' not so long ago and I just couldn't bottle the desire.

After the outline I blended lightly the background so as not to get an all too sticky sketch. After that, I did the contrast with my 8B pencil and the lighter parts I did with my 2B. Making this portrait was quite fun and it cost me long hours as well. I'd really love to get feedbacks from you, feel free to leave a comment...

Materials used in making this sketch are;
ā€¢ a 2B pencil for the Outline, background and light shadings,
ā€¢ an 8B for the hair and dark edges at the right side of the face.
