Clubin' - Portrait Photography and Art Contest - WEEK #144

Years ago, I did a lot of “clubin.’” Going to the club, or discotek (discothèque). Sometimes the club would have professional photographers there. And they would take pictures of the people at the club for a fee. Women often took more pictures than men. This is a woman posing for one of those photos.

*** I wasn't sure whether to put the photographer in the reflection of her glasses, now that I think about it, I probably should have, but I did not want to redo the render :)

Thank you to @axeman and World of Xpilar for hosting this contest.

TNB Bar Environment

In Summary:

  • I start out with a model template and morph the body physically.
  • I put the body into a position, change facial expressions, add makeup, dress the model, add skin texture, props, etc…
  • I either can embed the character into the background or wrap the environment around the character, then add lighting and camera settings, like depth of field.
  • Rendering time was 2 hours.
  • Postwork in Photoshop (adding imperfections in the skin, changing atmosphere and lighting, etc…)

Stay frosty people.
