WHERE IS SHE FROM?

Hi fans and steemians.
Today I found my self travel down in mood and spirit to the UNKNOWN WORLD, in the first instance I was so marveled at their beauty and mostly their adornment towards their body.
So I was carried away in the first instance by their beauty, and I picked up my sketchpad started the drawing and this will be the first time been drawn and captivated by beauty along the drawing I stop the drawing for a while.
I ask myself who is she and WHERE IS SHE FROM? This actually leads to my deep research on this particular tribe called HAMAR.

Hamar people are a neighborhood dwelling southwestern Ethiopia.
Hamar are recognized for their distinctive custom and tradition.
Hamer are known for their practice, rite of body adornment and putting up neck choker and wearing of multicolored beads.Women adorn their necks with heavy polished iron jewelry.

The Hamar women with their beauty, custom and traditions have amazed and shocked me the other way round with thier tradition.
Hamar lady before getting married need to perform their rite by ceremonial whipping of the tribe's female members. The violent lashings leave deep scars on the backs of women. Hamar people belief of being whipped repeatedly would make most of us cringe i.e show submission . Yet the practice was embraced and encouraged this custom and made the women subject to the beatings. In fact, the women insulted the men and asked them to hit their bodies with long, wooden leashes.
Withstanding the pain, dancing and cheers, is seen as a sign of love and loyalty toward their male relatives. Indeed, the men are perpetually indebted to the women after the ceremony is over.
The women submit to the ritual floggings proudly and love to show the deep scars that are regarded as a proof of devotion to their husbands.

Mingi, in the belief of the Hamar and related tribes, is the state of being impure or ritually polluted.
A person, often a child, who was considered mingi is killed by forced permanent separation from the tribe by being left alone in the jungle or by drowning in the river.

Below are my proof of ownership and stages.

This their custum and tradition has actually ruined my mood like I don't get what the beautiful or submissive in this kind of act looking at their back and those scary scars on their back made me speechless of their custom.
Custom are great though with their belief. I could see they found it beautiful having those scars on their back.
