The Renaissance-in-style Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Graça Church of Évora was built in the 15th century.
Its facade in granite has a Tuscan-columns arcade, Classical pilasters, and is adorned with medallions. In its upper cornice its is possible to see four giants made of stone, which legs are in a vacuum, carrying globes.
The cloister of the nearby monastery dates back to the 17th century and is one of the first examples of Renaissance style in Portugal.
I am sharing photos of landscapes, moments and experiences. Nature and sea are the most visited themes in my photo collection, but any attention-grabbing aspect can be photographed. Hope you enjoy it...Location: Évora - Alentejo - Portugal
