Today sharing the picture of the most iconic structure of my city. The building of Royal Opera. It is the city venue for Arts and Culture. Between October to April. Worldwide artist come here and perform. It is a place that defines elegance and royalty. The late Sultan of Oman was a fan of music and arts, and this Opera was his vision, which got completed in 2011 and opened up for shows to the world. Since then it has been a stage to artist from all over the world. This is one Opera, where there is multilingual recordings. So be it whatever language the show is happening in, you can hear it in your preferred language with the headphones.
There are some shows that happen outdoors as well. There is a big courtyard and some of the National yearly events like the Military music show happens here and there is a special seating arrangement made. It is one of my favorite place in Muscat city. During the National day, the place is lit up with colorful lights and it looks very spectacular. I have seen several Opera Houses across the world, but nothing beats this one for sure.
