It's hot in summer. The city is big but not enough "green".
The Japanese suffer every flap to make green.
This is their success.
Plants are placed everywhere: between skyscrapers ..
...on the roofs of houses. . .
. . .and even on dividing strips.
Some gardens are made very lovely
Sometimes they are very small and funny, like this monument to the Family Cat.
There are two large parks in downtown Tokyo.
But the shadow is not enough. People hide from the sun under the walls of houses.
