The last time I write on this topic. Why Doesn't steemcurator04-08 Vote for Me?

I recently wrote this post where I tried to explain how to get more support on this platform. However, I decided to write another post for the following reason.

Next Thursday I will be curating content in the field of gardening again. But the posts that I will support, I look for every day, preparing a list in advance. While looking for posts, I came across interesting comments. I do not want to mention who wrote them, I will only write three main ideas that I met:

  1. steemcurator04-08 constantly vote for the same authors.
  2. I mention all the team members in each post, and they don't look at my post because I'm not their friend.
  3. None of my posts were supported. This program does not work.

And now I will show step by step how to curate content and you will see at what step your post does not meet the rules.

Step 1. Tag.

My topic is gardening, so I first sort the posts by tag #garden. I see the following picture:

Then I look at each post on the list. I do the same with the tag #gardening and others.

If you wrote a great post about your garden, but only used the tags #steemexclusive, #venezuela and # club5050, then I'm sorry, I just couldn't find your post.

Step 2. Number of Words.

When I opened the post, the first thing that immediately catches my eye is how big the post is. Is there text in it? does the author want to tell me something? Did he make the effort to create the post? Or maybe he took 10 photos of the flower and published them all in a row and is waiting for a reward.

To be honest, at this stage I reject almost half of the posts.

Step 3. Checking for bid bots

Here everything is simple, if bid bots did not vote for your post, then with a high probability you do not use them. Also, make sure you don't use the #krsucces tag, which gives you automatic vote.

Step 4. Checking Club Status.

When I checked the club status of one of the "dissatisfied", I saw this:

He will have to ask for a vote for a long time, because he does not meet the requirements of any club.

At the same stage, I check to see if you have a outgoing delegations to bid bots.

Step 5. I'm Checking to See If We've Already Voted for This Author

Our team has a rule, we do not vote for one author more than twice a week. Therefore, the accusations that steemcurator04-08 vote only for a certain group of authors are baseless. But if one author wrote two good posts according to all the rules, and the other one post, in which he exhibited only a photo of a banana, I will vote twice for the first author and never for the second.

Step 6. Uniqueness Check

Whether or not you use the #steemexclusive tag, curators check each post for uniqueness. To do this, they can use different services, or can simply enter part of the text in Google search, using quotation marks.

How I check for uniqueness I will not tell you :)

Step 7. Reading the Post

Only after everything I've done I'm starting to read the post. If it is written in a language unfamiliar to me, I use a translator, but I still read the post.

At this stage, you can find the following:

And this rice comes from rice, rice comes from rice.

Even if you followed all the rules, but wrote a mixture of words, I will not support your post.

Now you can go through all the stages and see which of them your post could not overcome.
