The citadel and her golden virgin.

Hello people of steemit :)
Today I show you a picture I take in Forcalquier in south of France.
After a little walk you can see the top of the citadel.
The Notre-Dame de Provence Chapel in neo-Byzantine and octagonal style was erected in 1875 on the initiative of Canon Terrasson. It is decorated at each corner with statues of musicians who each play a musical instrument from the Middle Ages. The tympanum of the chapel is decorated with Saints of Provence.
