Those who follow me already in the know that I accompany my babygirl to school and take her back home using nothing else but public transport by bus or tram. So each day I have four 40-min trips and a lot of opportunity to witness the streetlife of the city, especially on my solo way back home.
So...
Today started as a cloudy grey day, which turned into a long annoying rain for all the second half of the day. I managed to harvest some captures anyway, even though by the end I was hiding the camera beneath my leather coat. I didnt borrow umbrella with me. Instead of that, I was holding my Canon 5D camera, and 150mm macro lens. Of course it is not an ideal solution for streetphoto, but since I hunt for mushroom visuals a lot all of the time, I almost dont change recently the macro lens to anything else at all.

The man goes out of the store with a block of cigarets. he might filled up his stock for a week or few. A makeshift seasonal grocery store for watermelons is seen at the background. The most typical feature of the Autumn season here.

A girl is playing frisby with her father at a playing ground. I noticed her schoolbag at the bench, so probably they were going back home from school, same as we. And this little physical activity is a best way to relax from studies, before venturing into doing of a homework.
Intresting scene that left unexplained to me. I wish I had time to come up and ask what that boy was carrying. There might be some intresting story befind those tools, definitely not a simple toy sword! Something bizarre and unique. Unfortunately I was in a rush and took the pic across the road, had no time for building any communication at all..
The conductor in the tram. She had a very sad, weared out look; after 10 minutes of eye contact, I broke down and took a picture of her. Despite the very poor lighting, to my surprise, the shot came out well.

This one is my trophey for the cool #AlphabetHunt challenge I am taking part in. Current week has the letter 'V', so I am looking after intresting stuff starting from letter V. This is what I've got today. Not sure yet if it will go to the final post or not -- thats always a last-minute decisions.
And the last one, truly a highlight of the day for me.
I captured this in my own yard, when I almost came home. I even had to unholster my camera back from the rucksack, as the scene I witnessed was shiny brilliant! This man is collecting the rain water, to use it further for hands-washing! "The economy must be economical!" (с)
