Today I show you a fresh picture from yesterday extensive photo-walk around the city. I was aiming for #streetphoto hunt and borrowed 70-200mm lens with me. I visited two markets and payed attention to a few central streets and everyday life going there, as well, I've got some architectural by-products, and this capture of Horses at Anichkov bridge is one of them. (It is one of iconic places of intrest at St.Petersburg to visit and shoot... strangely this maybe the 1st time I actually shooting it, haha). I figured out it will look more splendid in the black-and-white edition...
location: | St.Petersburg, Russia | August 2022 | natural lighting |
camera/lens: | Canon 5D | 70-200mm 2.8 | raw-conv |
f 2.8 | t 1/3200 | ISO 100 |
Black and white suits it ideally -- what do you think? Below is the colour version (no editing, it is as camera saw it).
This was my entry to 'Black and white photography and art' contest by @axeman — week #122.
