Pen drawing can be challenging. There is no way to erase.
In some cases, it is best to first draw the structure with a pencil.
With experience, it is possible to draw directly with a pen.
I use technical pens, which produce lines with uniform thickness, and they are lightfast.
Lightfastness, is how durable the ink is to fading from direct light.
Quality drawing-pens come with quality (lightfast) ink.
Remember to always close the cap, so the pen won't dry.
In addition, with time, the nib of technical pens will wear down with time.
