Сегодня дом окружён бетонными строениями и многоэтажными башнями. Разве молодёжь переспоришь? Он живёт своей жизнью и не жалуется. Сегодня в нём расположилась школа искусств. Может ли желать старый дом лучшей судьбы? Над ним по-прежнему высокое небо и кажется даже дожди обходят дом стороной.
Дом купца Дунаева является объектом культурного наследия федерального значения.
