Use of Complementary Colours in Collage / Uso de los Colores Complementarios en el Collage.

With this tutorial I would like to show you the possibilities of making a collage based on the combination of 2 complementary colours.

Complementary colours are colours that are opposite each other on the chromatic circle.

They combine very well together and form compositions that are pleasing to the eye. Sometimes, a painting attracts us and we don't know why, in many cases it is because of the right use of complementary colours.

. Yellow and violet:

In collage, the theory of complementary colours can be applied with a simple exercise.

We will make collages with one colour and its complementary.

These are three collages that I have made so that you can try combining complementary colours...(this rainy weekend has given me plenty of time....😆)

. On a yellow cardboard, we will paste lilac or purple figures.

. On a red one, we will use green cut-outs.

. And on a blue background, we will paste orange elements.

Hola amigos de la comunidad WOX!

Con este tutorial me gustaría mostraros las posibilidades de realizar un collage en base a la combinación de 2 colores complementarios.

Los colores complementarios son los que están opuestos en el círculo cromático.

Combinan muy bien juntos y forman composiciones agradables a la vista. En ocasiones, un cuadro nos atrae y no sabemos por qué, en muchos casos es por la acertada utilización de los colores complementarios.

En el collage, se puede aplicar la teoría de los colores opuestos con un sencillo ejercicio.

Estos son tres collages que he realizado para que probéis a combinar colores complementarios entre sí...(este fin de semana lluvioso me ha cundido... 😆)

Haremos collages con un color y su opuesto o complementario.

. Sobre una cartulina amarilla, pegaremos figuras lilas o moradas.

. Sobre una rojo, utilizaremos recortes verdes.

. Y sobre un fondo azul pegaremos elementos de color naranja.
