Hello steemians and my fellow members of @worldofxpilar how is the festive period over there? How are you celebrating/enjoying your Christmas holiday? How is the weather treating you. Harmattan is keeping us indoors down here in west Africa.
But while indoors I still find time to do what I love. that is, creating Artworks. I'm here again to share a white pen portrait of a cat. But this time I came up with something quite different from my usual portrait. I used a black paper to create a very beautiful portrait of a cat in a reflection of light in darkness.
The work is a great masterpiece. That's what people are telling me, do I decided to share it with you here.
I hope you love it and also learn from it. Some Artist need to learn new stuffs to keep with consistency and competency.Materials
Paper | Emboss card |
---|---|
Size | 8 X 10 inches |
Pen | White pen |
Eraser | Nataraj vinyl eraser (Yes, the pen is erasable) |
Camera | Infinix mobile phone |
Duration | Approximately 4 hrs |
Location | Home |
Here are the steps on how I did it. I didn't draw any grid lines I started drawing like that. Freehand. Such work doesn't need grid lines. Starting from the furs on the ears and went through gradually. It's sophisticated since you have no grid lines for guide, but simple if you know about right proportions.
I hope you love it!
