¡Hola y buen día tengan todos ustedes, estimados lectores! El día de hoy les comparto mi entrada a la edición número 123 del Concurso de Fotografía y Arte de Paisaje Urbano de The World of XPILAR, auspiciado por @axeman.
La presente fotografía fue tomada por la cámara de mi teléfono Samsung A32 el 16 de mayo de 2022 mientras regresaba a casa luego de estar un par de horas en la biblioteca. La calle 59 es una de las arterias principales que conecta los puntos oriental y occidental de la ciudad, atravesando el Centro Histórico. Muchas veces los atardeceres en Mérida se ponen muy bonitos, con el color amarillento, casi anaranjado, de la luz del sol acariciando suavemente las paredes de los edificios que van apareciendo en el recorrido, generando en el caminante una sensación de paz y tranquilidad en medio de la algarabía urbana.

Hello and good day, dear readers! Today I'm sharing with you my entry to the 123rd edition of The World of XPILAR - Cityscape Photography and Art Contest, hosted by @axeman.
The following picture was taken with my Samsung A32 cellphone's camera, on May 16th, 2022. 59th Street is one of the main arteries that connects the eastern and western points of the city, crossing the Historic Downtown. Many times the sunsets in Merida are very beautiful, with the yellowish, almost orange color, of the sunlight gently caressing the walls of the buildings that appear on the route, generating in the walker a feeling of peace and tranquility in the midst of the urban gabble.
