El 11 de noviembre de 2023 se tomó esta fotografía con la cámara del teléfono Samsung A32, desde la Plaza Grande del Centro Histórico de Mérida, Yucatán, México. La torre rosada del fondo pertenece al edificio del Ayuntamiento de Mérida, construido durante la Época Colonial. Junto con la Catedral de San Ildefonso, es uno de los edificios más fotografiados por turistas nacionales y extranjeros. De vez en cuando, un grupo de visitantes se para cerca de las escalinatas de la plaza que da hacia la calle 62, con el guía explicándoles cuándo se construyó y quién fue el que diseñó su forma actual; algunos incluso comparten gestos de asombro y admiración por lo bien conservado que se encuentra el lugar, actual centro de operaciones del gobierno municipal.

This picture was taken with the Samsung A32 phone's camera in November 11th, 2023, from the Plaza Grande of the Historic Downtown of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. The pink tower on the background belongs to the Merida City Hall building, built during the Colonial era. Along the Saint Ildephonse Cathedral, is one of the most photographied buildings by national and foreign tourism. From time on time, a group of visitor stands near the stairs of the plaza that faces towards the 62nd street, with the guide explaining to them when it's built and who designed its actual form; some also share gestures of astonishment and admiration at how well preserved the place is, the current operations center of the municipal government.
