When @bambuka announced the motto for the new party - night shots, I immediately thought of photos that I had taken by chance recently. The magical thing about them is not so much the technical perfection (as is so often the case with me ;-)), but the endearing impression of the situation itself...
I told you about my stay in the Wendland. I didn't sleep in the big residence there for a few nights. There is a sauna house on the property; a small wooden house in which, as the name suggests, a sauna is built in. But also an ultra-comfortable bed. The most comfortable I personally know, I dare say. Plus the completely different room climate - I didn't want to miss out on this pleasure and treated myself to pure relaxation for a few overnights ;-))
However: what there is not "back there" - a fridge and a toilet. Two reasons that often led me to the residential house at night... Through an otherwise unlit, gloomy and overgrown garden!
My hosts were kind enough to set up a floor lamp by the pond! Yes, a very old-fashioned floor lamp with a fabric lampshade and tassels - you probably know it from your grandparents in a similar form... ;-)) Combined with a red light bulb, it created a very special, picturesque atmosphere, which of course I could only capture inadequately photographically…
The best thing: I actually didn't fall into the pond or the pool - thanks to "Grandma's sparkle" ;-))
I'll add a few more, older night shots - here, too, I found the realisation anything but professional, but extremely interesting... ;-))

At night, the ambience at almost all locations is quite different from during the day; even the most boring places get something exciting and thrilling. And even the worst photographers can produce wondrous masterpieces! Thank you for the opportunity to present them...

Als @bambuka das Motto für die neue Party ausrief – Nachtaufnahmen, dachte ich sofort an zufällig jüngst geschossene Fotos. Das zauberhafte an diesen ist weniger die technische Perfektion (wie so oft bei mir ;-)), sondern die liebenswerte Anmutung der Situation selbst…
Ich hatte Euch von meinem Aufenthalt im Wendland erzählt. Einige Nächte habe ich dort nicht im großen Wohnhaus geschlafen. Es gibt nämlich noch ein Saunahaus auf diesem Grundstück; ein kleines Holzhaus, in dem, wie der Name schon sagt, u.a. eine Sauna eingebaut ist. Aber auch ein ultrabequemes Bett. Das bequemste, das ich persönlich kenne, wage ich zu behaupten. Dazu das ganz andere Raumklima – ich wollte auf diesen Genuß nicht verzichten und habe mir für ein paar Übernachtungen pure Entspannung gegönnt ;-))
Wie auch immer: was es dort „hinten“ nicht gibt – einen Kühlschrank und eine Toilette. Zwei Gründe, die mich des öfteren nachts ins Wohnhaus führten… Durch einen ansonsten unbeleuchteten, finsteren und verwilderten Garten!
Meine Gastgeber waren so lieb und haben am Teich eine Stehlampe aufgestellt! Ja, eine ganz altmodische Stehlampe mit Stofflampenschirm und Troddeln – kennt Ihr bestimmt in ähnlicher Form noch von Euren Großeltern… ;-)) Kombiniert mit einer roten Glühbirne ergab das eine ganz spezielle, pittoreske Stimmung, die ich natürlich nur unzureichend fotografisch einfangen konnte…
Das Beste: ich bin tatsächlich weder in den Teich noch in den Pool gefallen – dank „Omas Funzel“ ;-))
Ein paar weitere, ältere Nachtaufnahmen füge ich noch bei – auch hier fand ich die Umsetzung alles andere als professionell, aber äußerst interessant… ;-))

Nachts ist das Ambiente an fast allen Locations eben ganz anders als tagsüber; selbst die langweiligsten Orte bekommen etwas spannendes und aufregendes. Und selbst die schlechtesten Fotografen können wundersame Meisterwerke zustande bringen! Danke für die Möglichkeit, sie zu präsentieren...
