Steem Women Club | My Appointment As South Asian Representative

Earlier today, the announcement by @steemwomensclub made me really happy. I am over the moon to be appointed as the Representative of all the South Asian Women in Steem Women Club.

Although it's a very good opportunity, I am slightly nervous to take on this huge responsibility. But I will be working alongside great and talented women like our respected leader @svm038 and other worthy representatives @ngoenyi @saracampero and @nadiaturrina. I am sure there will be a lot to learn from them and I will be vigilant and aim to fulfill my responsibilities in an effective manner.

As the first step for the betterment of this ever-growing community, I have set up a telegram group for all the ladies of the South Asian region, we have here. Ladies from the following countries are requested to join:

Pakistan
India
Bangladesh
Srilanka
Bhutan
Nepal
Maldives
Afghanistan

Aim of the Telegram Group

I want all South Asian ladies to join the group. For the following reasons:

I will always be available there, so you can ask all your queries and get help readily.
We will be able to get to know each other and form true friendships across borders.
You can share links to your posts so that all members can engage on those.
Newcomers get easily confused at the start, I request you all to refer them to this group and tell them to ask anything freely over there.

Requirement upon joining

We expect every new member to introduce herself by telling her name, country, education, and profession (if any). The purpose is to get to know you a little better.
