INTRODUCTION
Women as a whole have great expectations that moves their families forward. They also have strong wills to absorb challenges and difficulties in the families more than the men irrespective of their feminine nature. Please, read patiently and see my unforgettable memories this 2020 that is racing to an end and also my expectations for the 2021 that is just by the Conner.
my unforgettable memories for 2020
I came into this year 2020 with great expectations, but most of them were not realised. In fact, 2020 tuned the whole world around to a different direction all together. The memory that I will not forget in a hurry is how I and my family were able to survive the luck down.
It was just like a dream when the lock down began here in Nigeria and that was March this year. My husband lost his job that brought us to this city, Uyo and I as a wife and woman in the house only relies on my sales from the handkerchief I produce and sale

but now that there is lock down, how will we survive? That was the question that was ringing in my mind. Coupled with the fact that we were just new in this town,. We moved in just a year ago and we haven't made much friends. The anxiety weighed me down. But as a woman and wife with kids that will surely eat no matter how things are, I had to device a means to help us manage the limited resources. What did I do?

I quickly remembered the workshop I attended about organic foods where I learned to use a little money to prepare tasty and healthy foods. I personally sat with my family on the need for us to change our pattern of feeding to a more healthy one with little fund. Then, I practiced what I had earlier learned. I prepared mixed cereals flour that we take as pudding,

I prepared soya bean flour that we were taking as tea, I prepared beans cake, buns and other pastries that we used for tea. Then for other foods, I went on vagies. I used as low as 14 steem to prepare a pot at soup that we take for three days. And for source that we ate with white rice, I prepared it with just vegetable and egg. One good thing about it is that the whole family liked the idea and followed with the plan. And by the end of the lock down, those who knew us were like, wow! What were you people feeding on, you look healthier than before.

We as a family were also doing a work out every morning. We used our rope at home. And we did other work outs but just within the compound. It was fun.
At the end, we survived. All thanks to the Almighty for the wisdom.
2020 also brought me to steemit and then to @steemwomen community. I can not forget all the exciting experiences I am having ever since I joined the steemit ecosystem.
my expectations for the New Year, 2021.
Just like I had great expectations for this 2020 that is ending, I also have such this coming year. Remember that the covid -19 pandemic has turned the world around. Therefore, I will not expect that things be 100% fine this coming year. But as a woman, and human, I will always expect the best while also preparing myself for the worst in case it happens. Below are my expectations
I expect to keep improving as a wife and mother in the way a take care of my responsibilities at home
My family is my priority and that is why I have refused to accept employment that will take me out of the home for long hours. My expectations is to improve in taking care of my family in terms of the type of food that will keep them healthy.

The family income is not much to help us live in luxury. It needs to be wisely appropriated such that nothing suffers. So, I pray for wisdom to handle it.
I also expect that my family income improves.
With the advent of online businesses and platforms like e-commerce business and steemit, I expect that as we have taken advantage of these opportunities already, that our earnings and income will improve to enable us take care of our increasing demands.
I expect my participation in steemit to improve
I just joined steemit this July 2020 and for this year, I will say that I am just still trying to fully understand how this things work here. But come next year, I will drastically improve because I must have been fully grounded. I will also encourage others to join me here and my fellow women to subscribe and participate in everything done this this community for women.
Christmas?
So sorry to say that I don't Celebrate it. I don't have plans to and I don't want to celebrate it at all. Ever since I learned about it, how it came about and what happens during the period, I have come to loathe it, but I respect people's choice and I also want others to respect my decision not to celebrate it. However, December is usually a period of holidays where most family members are off duty. So it affords me the opportunity to meet with them and catch fun together. I plan to take the children out and let them catch fun. While we devote most of the time in our usual spiritual routine.
New Year Celebration?
I don't also celebrate this. In as much as I am very happy and grateful for being alive till the end of this year, going to the New Year, I don't give it special attention. Rather, I celebrate every second, minute, hour, day, month and year of my life in a special way and that is living my life to make my maker happy by living according to his precepts and that is what matters most.
Conclusion
I am grateful to Jehovah God for granting me the grace to survive till this moment. I strongly believe that he will also see me through the coming years no matter how life turn out to be, whether all my expectations are fulfilled or not.
