The beach can be one of the best places for those who like to spend time alone. Where you can enjoy the beauty of the vastness of the sea, hear the constant lapping of the water waves, see the seagulls flying in the clouds and enjoy the clear sunset from the closest.

Today I will introduce you to a beach that can be enjoyed for such moments. This beach with a length of about three kilometers is called Kumira Akilpur Sea beach. It is very close to my home where I like to spend my leisure period most of the time.

It's located in Kumira area, just 10 km away from Chittagong city, this beautiful beach can be easily reached by any vehicle. If you want to enjoy the weather of any season summer, monsoon or winter with full satisfaction then there can be no better place than this.

First, I will talk about some of its special features, because once tourists visit here, they will want to come back again and again, fascinated by its beauty. The only reason why this beach is so popular is that its shore very close to the embankment, which allows you to enjoy the low tide from very close.

There are several coconut and marine trees on the shore. You can see the peaceful environment sitting under the shade of them. The beach is well surrounded on the north and south sides and is flanked by a winding meridian drive road which makes you feel like you are walking on the sea chest all the way through.

The stones of the embankment are also very beautiful, sitting on them and staring at the sunset, thousands of sorrows inside you will disappear. You must be careful while climbing over these rocks because the grooves are quite sharp. But after experiencing the sunset up close, one cannot deny that it is one of the best living and beautiful moments.

Here visitors can be seen picnicking with family, chatting with friends or enjoying some good moments with loved ones. To make tourists feel comfortable, there are many wooden seats along the beach with large umbrellas to provide shade from the intense heat of the sun.

Although this is towards the village, there is no good restaurant available. Here tourists are willing to compromise on food because the beauty of the beach and the sunset fills their mind. However, small eateries here prepare a special dish called Piyaju which is made from chickpeas.

Tourists love this piyaju and it is within the reach of everyone, the price is only 30 taka/0.24 Usd per plate where ample amount of food is served. Many also offer some salad with it.

However, no matter how much I praise the beauty of Akilpur beach, it will not be enough. But this much can be said with certainty that this beach can fascinate people of any taste with its beauty.
