Hello, dear Steemit friend!❤️
Today I bring you a walk through the Caricuao Zoological Park, located in Caracas, the capital of my country, Venezuela.
The photos are from 2015 taken with my camera and my cell phone at that time. Every time I went to Caracas I took the opportunity to visit some interesting places, including this one.
It was my first time going, and the experience was fascinating from the start.
Among the first animals I saw were crocodiles. They were so close that I felt like I was in Jurassic Park. I didn't feel afraid, I just remained enthralled looking at them as if I were a little girl, because the only reptiles I had ever seen in my life were the turtles in my yard, as well as the iguanas in the squares.
But look at this beauty! The happy and beautiful colors of it. The macaws, one of the best shots I took, at that time I was a teenager, and for me horizontal photos were the best.
In addition to that, I couldn't see them from the front. Apparently, they were very busy with some very deep macaw conversation.
We keep moving forward... I never thought I would be able to see these animals in my life. So, I didn't stop taking photos, some with zoom, because they were far from me.
In the last photograph you will see a peacock. I wanted him to spread his wings to see him live. I do not pass. But, I also felt very lucky to have seen it.
There were also some felines, not like my cats, they were lions, which are kept away from the population by metal mesh as you will see.

Hey you, come here! This is what I would say if I were on a farm, rest assured that I would chase this bird to pick it up, or simply to see its beautiful feathers up close.

After walking, we found an elephant, and not the one that was swinging, but a magnificent specimen, of which I have too many photographs, so many that I wanted to make a GIF so that you can see it walking towards people.
Horses, in addition, observe farmyard animals. She wanted to get on a horse, she just, she wasn't sure. I was a little afraid, I was paralyzed, which made me not encouraged.
When I got home I promised myself that the next time I see one I will ride it.
And of course, they can't have horses without a wonderful place like this. I loved it, so I couldn't help but take some photos. It was like visiting the Venezuelan plains, only it was in Caracas.
I hope you liked this visit, until the next blog. Don't forget to wish me luck to go and ride horses again.
Thanks for reading, and may your day be beautiful. ❤️
