Hi Steemian.
This evening, I will share the experience of my long journey out of the city from Aceh to Yogyakarta. This is a very long journey, not only through several provinces, but also across the island.
Purpose of Travel.
My visit to Yogyakarta is to fulfill a call for a work seminar. Besides that, I will also visit one of the world-recognized tourist attractions, namely the Borobudur Temple.
Travel Date.
I did this on the 8th of April 2021.
My Travel Route
My travel distance is quite far if taken by car is about 52 hours, you can see the map route here. But of course, I traveled to Yogyakarta by plane. Which only takes 3 hours.
The start of the journey
I started this directly at Kualanamu International Airport. I started a journey here with my friend. Waiting for ticket and baggage registration.
I made this trip accompanied by 20 of my other friends. So, almost half of the plane's contents are filled by us. This is very fun
Has arrived in Yogyakarta
After traveling for less than 3 hours, we finally arrived safely at Yogyakarta International Airport. Next, some of my friends and I headed straight to the front gate to get to the bus. to go to the inn.
Headed to Hotel and Attended Seminar.
In Yogjakarta, I stayed at the Grand Mercure Yogyakarta. This is a 5 star hotel, it's a shame because I didn't take some interesting photos here.
Then the next morning, my friends and I went straight to the seminar room upstairs, but before heading upstairs, of course my friend told me to take some of the following photos.
And below are some photos when I was attending the seminar.
Going Around the City and Trying Culinary
After attending the seminar on the first day, I immediately rushed into the room, and changed clothes to go out around the city of Yogyakarta.
My friend and I use a rickshaw to go around each city. The following is a photo of me with the pedicab driver.
Next we stop by at one of the culinary attractions on Jl. Malioboro. there we tried to taste one of Yogyakarta's original foods, namely "Nasi Gudeg".
"Nasi Gudeg" consists of rice, chicken, eggs and jackfruit vegetables. The taste is very good, it's my first time enjoying this. coupled with a special drink from here, namely iced tea.
And what is very special, we are also accompanied by buskers. Whose voice is very good. I even want to take a photo with them.

Their voices are very good, even though they are just street singers. this reminds me of my best friend @rezamusic22 who also loves to sing.
After enjoying the culinary, and walking around for a while. We go straight back to the hotel, for rest.
Second day trip (special) to Borobudur Temple.
This is the destination I want to visit the most, namely BOROBUDUR TEMPLE. it is a recognized world cultural heritage and one of the most visited places by tourists.
We go to Borobudur Temple by bus. Here are some photos, beauty and excitement while visiting the place.

I also meet tourists, and take photos together.
Closing
That's the story of my journey from Aceh to Yogyakarta and visiting the phenomenal place "Borobudur Temple". This is a very great memory for me. and I have to share it in the #saturdaymemories community.
