Greetings, Everyone. I am taking part in this beautiful contest Decorated places in your city. Thank you @hive-190211 for organizing this contest.

1.- Activities that are celebrated in your city during this holiday season.

We love to celebrate our best moments with our family, friends, and loved ones. During our celebration, we engage with so many activities that can glorify the moments that we want to celebrate. It is the month of December and people are planning to celebrate their new year moments. Except for the New Year celebration, this month is significant for the people of Bangladesh.

This is the month when we got victory in the liberation war of 1971. On the 16th of December, we emerged as an independent nation. So the people of our country celebrate this month. This is a month of victory for us.

I live in a city of railways. There are a few important railway workshops located in our city. These railway workshops and streets are decorated during Victory Day. The decoration keeps up for a few days. The 16th December is a national holiday for us.

On the 31st of December, people get busy while celebrating the new year. They decorate their home or garden to celebrate the new year.

2.- Show us the best decorations in the area where you live, they can be squares, houses, roads, and others.

I am showing you a railway officers' club which has decorated in this month of victory. The Officers' Club is also known as a guest house of a railway residential area.

This was not a decorated place before. Just a few years ago this place was renovated and the outdoor rest area was built. It's made in the shape of a circle. Beautiful lamps have been installed around the place. The place looks awesome at night. Colorful lamps and the decoration of lights make the place look wonderful.

3.- Do you decorate your house? What do you like most when decorating your home? Do you have any traditions for decorating?

Honestly, I love to decorate my house but don't decorate so much. My mom decorates our home. Sometimes I buy showpieces to decorate the house. We live in a railway quarter and we can live in this house if any of the members of my family work in the Bangladesh Railway. So it's kind of a temporary house, so we don't decorate the house so much. But in the Muslim festivals, we like to decorate the house.

I like to decorate my house with colorful lighting, wonderful showpieces, and beautiful interior design.

We have a lot of traditions for decorating. During the Bangla New Year, the people of our country decorate the streets with new artwork. In the marriage ceremonies, the house of the bride and groom is decorated and it's a tradition. Different places of our country are beautifully decorated in this kind of occasion such as traditional fairs, concerts.

I am inviting @shamimhossain, @waterjoe & @ridwant to take part in the contest.
