Last #beautifulsunday was Mother's Day and my father in law's birthday. The old style calendar at their home which I shared before in a previous post before. It tells a story of Mother's Day.

My wife and I went to a coffeeshop at Lorong 6 Toa Payoh to buy dinner. The place was quite crowded when I went recently and decide to go earlier as it was Sunday and also Mother's day. Seems nobody there yet. They have table setup outside where you order your food one side and pick up your food from another side.

The kitchen seemed busy enough. I believed they already had some pre-orders or orders via phone. The signs on the top had crab shells all around.

I placed my order and paid with the PayNow app. Good not to have to use cash.

While waiting for the food, it look like it would rain.

Here was where I pick up the orders. They had the chopsticks, spoons and chili/sauce there. There were also herbal soup which they said I could take. I only take one.

By the time we reached the in-laws place, it started to rain and rain quite badly.

Luckily, the food end up on the table without getting wet.

I had the sliced fish hor fun which was one of the better one I had in recent days.

This rather unhealthy prawn paste chicken was shared among us.

After dinner, I went home and started an experiment.
