I few Sundays ago, it was raining badly. With no plan to go anywhere, I decided to clear some food stock.
几星期天，天在下雨。由于没啥计划出去，我决定要清除些存在家里d食物。

I bought this packet of bee hoon from a market some time back.
这包米粉是在一个菜市买回来了一段时间。
Washed and soaked in water.
水洗和浸泡在水中一下。
Opened a can of luo han zai which is basically vegetarian stuff.
开罐罗汉斋。
Dumped it into the pot with the bee hoon and cooked for a while and out comes the vegetarian bee hoon.
倒进锅里与米粉煮熟一会儿就出来le素食米粉。
I had some Kai Lan which I dumped into the pot and boiled a bit and had them with oyster sauce.
我有一些芥兰，之后也倒入锅中煮一下，加了蚝油chi。
While I was having lunch, this ad had to come out on the TV.
当我正在吃午餐时，这则广告非在电视上出来。
After a visit to the inlaws, was going to get dinner on the way out. Decided to go to this place at Toa Payoh North but seems like different operator than I expected.
到太太娘家坐一下，回家途中买晚餐。决定去在大巴窑北这个地方，但似乎是不同人经营了。
I decided to order something anyway.
我决定还是买吧。
The place is empty since nobody was allowed to dine in.
因为没有人被允许在堂食，用餐的地方是空的。
While people were waiting for the food like us, we were checking out what else is there on the menu.
当人们跟我们一样在等待的食物时，我们看还有什么在菜单上。
Outside the place, they haver some potted plants.
在外面，他们种植了些盆栽植物。
Ah, I have these Luo Han Song at home.
啊，我的这些罗汉首歌家。
I don't have this kind of bonsai though
啊，柘罗汉松我家里有。
They have a couple of elephants displayed there and this was one of them.
他们有一对大象在那里摆设，这是其中之一。
The pack of small portion turned out to be larger than we expected. The parents in law were planning to cook their own dinner but we called and said we were turning back with dinner instead.
小份的一包比我们预期的大。本来岳母准备弄自己的晚饭，但我们打电话，说我们会回头带晚餐过去。
The other small pack was also bigger than expected. I wondered if they gave us the wrong size.
另一份也是挺大的小份。也不知是否给错我们。
The laksa was not too spicy. I think that's why my father in law didn't like it much. Should have add in some chili sauce they give. There were few big prawns and 2 scallops in there.
叻沙是不太辣。我想这是为什么我的岳父不太喜欢。应该加点他们给的些辣椒酱。有几个大虾和两个在里面。
There were few big prawns and 2 scallops in this prawn bee hoon but I found the scallops quite sandy.
在虾米粉里面也有几个大虾和两个扇贝但我发现扇贝吃起来有沙。
Anyway, the wife served the food. In the end, good enough meal though we at first thought the small portion was bit expensive.
太太分配了食物。最终，算吃得还好。虽然我们在开始想到是小部分是有点贵。
