Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mamas! I had a great day, though it was bittersweet as another one of my ducklings moved out of the nest!
In the afternoon after helping her to settle in to her new digs, I got out to the dog park for a nice walk with Zoey the wonder dog.
We had a great time. The leaves are finally emerging on the trees!
Zoey had an awesome time chasing her ball and jumping in the creek.
It’s so wonderful to walk through the woods and see everything coming back to life!
In the following picture, all of the green stuff is a pervasive weed called Garlic Mustard. But I loved the contrast of the pretty green against the dark trees.
