Green Deeds Pledge Realized: 17/07/2021

Hello esteem steemians, Steem greetings to all and hope we are all doing well. Our planet need more trees in order for our climate to be safe. So, last week I participated in @thegreens green deeds pledge to choose among a series of choices to protect our environment. So I chose tree planting to protect risk zones within the Bamenda city council area. More about the pledge could be seen through this link. @chant/green-deeds-i-pledge-to-plant-trees-on-risk-zones-in-bamenda

It has been a busy week for me as the pledge has been realised thanks to the help from my organization. We were able to plant 1000 trees at Abanja, and equally planted some at Menteh.

At Abanjah, we mobilise the population to join us in the process. They were so happy to carry on with the activity.

Today, we completed it by planting trees at Menteh, in Bamenda 3 sub division. We mobilise children and they happily planted the trees. Our reason for involving the kids is because we believe they are the leaders of tomorrow, and we cannot fight to protect the environment and they are left behind.

Thanks to @thegreens for this opportunity to protect our environment for posterity.
