Setting up a community is the tip of the iceberg—the bulk of the work in maintaining the community lies in the development of that community. The biggest challenge is steering the discussion and sharing content so that members will not only want to interact but also invite friends to join.
On the 2 December 2020, Steem Cameroon community was created and announced on the 3rd 2020 and today again we bring another good news to all Cameroon Steemians which is the creation of Steem Cameroon community account.
People may belong to more than one community and publish their original content in that community based on the community description. There’s no limit to how many communities you can and should join on steemit to the best of my knowledge. Therefore all members of the cameroon community shall benefit from the community account as we shall intend build it to be at that level we want it to be. It is indeed a gradual process.
This Community account shall be managed by @saxopedia and @njiatanga, the country representive of Cameroon as we already have everything well planned. We have a content publishing plan for this account and how we want to present your steem cameroon to the entire steem world.
Announcements of various activities in this community will be posted using this account like i said earlier, we have a content publishing plan.
Members.
In every growing community, the inflow of new members is natural, but we shall and always consider our target aim and or goal. This is especially important as we are still a small/growing community.
Allowing people who are not interested in the same topic to join the community will cause more harm than good—it can cause existing members to leave. We will partially eliminate this issue in the nearest feature as every member and would be member will create and publish a simple post in the community why he wanna be part of us and of course, he or she shall be rewarded even if accepted or not to be part of the community.

Steem Power is one the most important factors of someone’s influence on the Steem blockchain. Simply put, the more you SP we have, the more value our vote holds and thus our curation rewards.
