Creative Writing Contest Vol. 14
The Creative Writing Contest is aimed at promoting creative writing among Cameroonian steemians. This edition, @thegreens is giving 20 Steem to steemians of the @steem-cameroon community who will write about Education.
@thegreens has realized most Steem newbies are more focused on #thediarygame making the @steem-cameroon community to be heavily flooded with #thediarygame posts, giving the few creative writers very little exposure in the community.
As such @thegreens seeks to promote creative writing among Cameroonian steemians by rewarding all Cameroonian steemians who are blogging about anything other than #thediarygame with 01 - 02 steem for their creative writing.
Education
Education is the foundation of every successful society and a human right. In the English speaking regions of Cameroon, the right to education has been denied due to the ongoing socio-political crisis that has lasted over 5 years. The war that has shutdown thousands of schools has forced thousands to flee from the villages to the city centers and from the city centers of the English speaking regions of Cameroon to other regions of the country leading to an increase in population density, hence an increase in the cost of living and education. The cost of school fees and school needs have almost doubled making it very difficult for Cameroonians to go to school. This month, we talk Education and for this edition of the Creative Writing Contest, we want you to tell us how prepared you are for the 2021/2022 Back to School year and some of the challenges you face(d) preparing yourself or your children for this academic year.
Contest Rules:
- Write a post about the "2021/2022 Back to School year: How prepared are you? What are some of the challenges you face(d) preparing yourself or your children for this academic year".
- Publish your post in the @steem-cameroon community
- Use “#creativewriting” “#education” "#steemexclusive" "#steemit" and "#cameroon" as your primary tags
- Comment with a link of your post on this post as well as comment on at least 50% of all contest entries.
- Upvote and resteem this post
- Contest is strictly for members of the Steem Cameroon Community
- Share your post on your social networking platforms and leave a screenshot alongside a link to your post in the comments section of this post.
Contest Duration
The contest is a weekly contest and will run from today to Sunday 12 September, 2021 at 11:59 AM.
Contest Prize
The best three entries will receive 05 Steem, 04 Steem and 03 Steem whereas all creative posts will receive 01 - 02 Steem each (depending on the number of entries) and then an upvote and resteem from @thegreens and @steem-cameroon
