Jingles is Back!

The Holidays have arrived. Thanksgiving comes every year on the last Thursday of November. Everyone gets together with family and eats turkey, ham and stuffing. The day after is Black Friday where people go out and get all kind of deals and sales.

In the United States they also have another tradition: Elf on the Shelf.

What Is Elf on the Shelf?

A book accompanies an elf,  in which it tells children that elves are helpers to Santa and they watch them during the day and report back to Santa every night. When the elf comes back they come back to a different hiding place. Children love to wake up to find their elf sitting, lying, or hanging somewhere else.

I started with this tradition last year and my daughter loved it! When you first buy the elf on the shelf, your child gets to name the elf. My daughter's elf is called Jingles. Jingles came back yesterday with the message below.

I thought it was a great idea to introduce you to Jingles and show you daily how and where she comes back to. I know my daughter wakes up excited and first thing she does when she wakes up is to check where Jingles is.

Last night Jingles decided to grab Christmas decoration and hang herself from the chair. She wanted to let my daughter know she was back and she missed her, which is why she also had a sign.  What will Jingles do tomorrow?
