Over 20 years ago I spent a few months in Denver. I was homeless a lot in my teens and early 20's (almost 10 years) and the only place I ever was homeless that I felt like a real human being was in Denver, CO....which is part of the reason I headed here when I become homeless a week ago. In downtown Denver there is a perfect medley of old meets new, well-to-do meets poor. There are homeless galore walking and working the corners along 16th Street Mall. I loved this place 20+ years ago and still do. I hope the videos and pictures below can explain just a little of why Denver is so special to me and many others who are downtrodden.
