HOME BUTCHER SHOP! Just Got Our Butcher Workshop Off Of Facebook
Well, we knew we were going to have to build our own home butcher workshop or butcher building for us to be able to butcher our own pigs, the american guinea hogs. Well, if you have been keeping up with our youTube Channel then you know that we are craigslist, ebay & facebook junkies & have found some really great deals there, especially for equipment & items for our farm & homestead. Well we just found another one...a super deal!
This building showed up on my facebook page & it looked to be the perfect size for us to use as a butcher workshop for our homestead. And then it was only an hour from our farm, & it was such a great deal to boot. My wife drove over to Clanton Alabama to take a look at the building & once she saw it, she knew it would be perfect to use as our home butchering workshop for our next adventure, butchering our own pigs. But not only can we butcher pigs in it, we can also use it to butcher chickens as well, especially if the weather's not cooperating that day. Because butchering chickens in the rain is not that feasible.
We also plan to use the house to use as a milking station for our milk goats. I am going to build a milk stand for our Nigerian Dways & keep it in the butcher shop, & that way we will have a clean sanitary place to milk our goats as well.
So like I have said in the past, check craigslist & these for sell groups on facebook, and the key thing is to be patience...be patient. Patience & persistence is key to finding great deals & also a little luck too.
