We had some visitors on the farm a few days ago. I was showing them the orchard and the differences there were between the orchard area and the other areas around the farm. The grass is greener and fuller. There grape plants on the grape arbor are doing great. Most of all we thought it was pretty cool how this one tomato plant was doing this...
That one tomato plant was planted up in the protected garden area where I started my Back To Eden (BTE) or Mulch garden. Generally speaking growing tomatoes in Texas in July and August just isn't worth it, but there is something special about this location or this plant. I can't know for sure why it is doing this, but I'll take it.
