Perfect for burgers, sandwiches, or even as tortilla replacements, spicy cloud bread is low carb, keto friendly, light and delicious! Add this special ingredient to kick your cloud bread up a notch!
What exactly is cloud bread anyway?
It's a light, fluffy, and airy "bread" made from eggs and baked to a golden brown. Usually made with cream or cottage cheese as a binder, it becomes a good source of healthy protein as well. Cloud breads are often used as bun replacements for both hamburgers and hot dogs. They are versatile enough to become sandwich bread, or even tortillas for taco night.
Why are spicy foods healthy?
Besides adding a kick to what would be a bland food, adding a bit of hot sauce or hot peppers may help to rev up your metabolism. Spicy foods that contain capsicum are even being thought to be good for your heart health. (sources below) If you are not a fan of munching on jalapeno poppers or super spicy foods, you may still get the benefits by adding heat in different ways.
This spicy cloud bread will add a flavorful kick that may just get your body jumping. In a good way. After all, it's also thought that spicy foods may help with depression and anxiety. Since it has just a bit of spice, it won't be overwhelming to your palate. You may decide that adding in jalapenos or habaneros to your next dish is just what the chef ordered.
Are these really Frenchman approved?
Admittedly so, the Frenchman doesn't like super spicy foods. Give him creamy gravies, carby comfort foods and he's a happy man. However, he loves the idea of cloud bread because they don't fill him up so full that he needs a nap after a meal. Even he has to admit that these spicy cloud breads are just the right amount of spice in a light fluffy bread. Not overwhelming, not underwhelming.
I think you'll like them, too. Be sure to pin this for later!
